Launched a business and newsroom consulting company 5 years ago. I help businesses with crisis communications strategy and work with newsrooms to improve their journalism and business strategy. Been living in Texas for all but a year since leaving WFB and going to school at UT. I spent 10 years in Houston working in TV news and then launched 2 news organizations in Austin.

Olga and I were married in 1988 and were blessed with identical twins in 1991. They're 27 now and working and living independently.

In my career I covered the San Francisco earthquake, a dozen hurricanes, a full solar eclipse in Oaxaca, Mexico, two NBA titles, one NCAA football national championship (only one damn it), 5 national political conventions, the Bush Inauguration, and spent 40 days at the Branch Davidian compound in Waco.

Wow... trip to Jamaica... check out the photos on Facebook. God I drank a lot that trip... don't tell my kids! Body paint... lots of it. A beard and mustache in high school. I grew it for theater and I wore that mustache for 20 years, my wife still misses it, I don't!
